Bluprint is a vibrant café offering located on the ground floor of a bustling corporate building in the CBD of Adelaide with a grounding in inclusivity. Welcoming both city workers and the general public, the original seeded idea was that coffee was the "blueprint" for starting the day. In a process that evolved the offering over time and how it could operate and remain relevant and approachable during both office and non-office hours, this space is flexible and familiar. Combining raw and refined materials such as rugged, raked render paired with smooth, polished finishes, the aim was to create idenitity for the venue within a commercial lobby space. Upon entring Bluprint patrons are welcomed to a display of hand made, house-baked focaccia made fresh daily, and the aromas of freshly ground coffee are mixed with the buzz of people meeting. The result is a space that feels animated and as a sensory invitation. Designed to be flexible, the venue transitions from the morning coffee rush to a relaxed evening spot with drinks on offer. Although a compact space (approx. 50-70sqm), the planning and cross-functionality of elements has been specifically designed to cater to a fast-moving pace, with more intimate areas to pause amongst it all.
